Close-up of a stone slab beside a plant

Stone and finish

Nature chooses the pattern. We choose the measure.

We do not select a material by name or colour alone. We consider the actual slab, its pattern, its purpose and the way it will live in a space.

Choosing stone is a project decision.

Marble

Natural stone with expressive veining and tonal depth, selected by the actual slab and intended application.

Polished, honed or textured: options depend on the selected stone and the purpose of the space.

Let’s talk

Selection begins with the actual stone

Natural stone varies from slab to slab; veining, tone and structure cannot be repeated. We therefore look at the sample and the actual material in relation to the project, light and dimensions of the element. We clearly distinguish engineered quartz slabs from natural stone and select them according to the available collection and specific application.

The finish sets the surface tone

Polished and more textured surfaces receive light differently and shape the tactile impression in different ways. We do not determine a finish in advance, but according to the material, intended location and use. Edges, joints and cutting direction also influence how stone will appear as part of the whole.

Care and availability with the project

Care and application depend on the specific material, finish and conditions of use. Before a decision, we check the availability of the requested type, slab or block and the possibility of the chosen finish. Once a material is selected, we can discuss care in line with its properties and available product guidance.

Good to know

Why is it important to see the actual slab?

Natural stone has unique veining, tones and structures. The actual slab makes it possible to align selection with the dimensions of the element, cutting direction and light in the space.

Can maintenance be decided in advance?

Recommendations depend on the material, finish and use. Once a material is selected, we discuss care suited to that particular surface and available product guidance.
